Pride Festival
The Festival is the epicenter of San Diego Pride. It’s a two-day extravaganza hosted at Balboa Park’s Marston Point. The shady lawn will be adorned by live music and entertainment, food trucks, merchandise vendors, beverage gardens, art displays, cultural exhibitions, activities, and community resources. The Festival also hosts youth and senior zones!

Pride Parade
The Parade is one of San Diego’s largest civic events, attracting about 200,000 people annually! This year’s theme is Persist with Pride. A colorful cavalcade of floats and paraders will roll through the Hillcrest neighborhood. Cheer them on and help carry the rainbow flag down to the Festival!

Where: Begins at Hillcrest Pride Flag (University Ave. and Normal St.), proceeds west down University Ave., turns south on Sixth Ave., turns left at Balboa Dr. and ends at Quince St.

Spirit of Stonewall Rally
Launching Pride Weekend is the Spirit of Stonewall rally. It honors the Stonewall Riots of 1969, an uprising by the LGBTQ community and its allies against police brutality – generally considered the beginning of the Pride Movement. The rally serves as a remembrance of this event, and it also celebrates the community’s continued fight against intolerance.

Pride Block Party
Get your groove on at Pride’s electrifying block party! The block party features live music and entertainers and a huge variety of food and drink vendors. The event is free to the public, but VIP tickets include special amenities and complimentary services.

Pride 5K
The annual Pride 5K races along the parade route. It’s hosted by Front Runners and Walkers, San Diego’s LGBT running club.

Where: The race begins and ends at University Ave. and Centre St.
Price: Participant registration is $40. Spectatorship is free.
Pride World Forum
LGBTQI activists lead a panel discussion about their human rights efforts around the world. Following the panel, there will be free guided tours of the San Diego History Center’s new exhibition, LGBTQ+ San Diego: Stories of Struggles and Triumphs.

Light Up the Cathedral
An interfaith Pride celebration that brings together LGBTQ-supporting organizations and churches. St. Paul Cathedral will be lit up in dazzling rainbow colors.

Drag Me to the Del
The hottest drag show of the year will be held at the historic Hotel del Coronado! Proceeds benefit the San Diego LGBT Community Center and San Diego Pride. Coronado Ferry tickets free with our Hopper Plus package!
